About TPL (Tirpude’s Premier League)
Tirpude’s Premier League (TPL) is the flagship intracollegiate event of Tirpude Institute of Management Education, designed to blend the thrill of sports with the spirit of management learning.
What makes TPL unique is its team formation process, which mirrors the excitement of professional leagues. Each team is created through an auction system, where mentors are provided with a fixed virtual budget. Using this budget, mentors bid for students to build their squads according to the prescribed team composition.
This dynamic process not only ensures fairness but also encourages strategic thinking, decision-making, and collaboration—skills essential for future managers.
A total of 16 vibrant teams are formed through this auction, each carrying its own identity, energy, and competitive spirit. These teams then battle it out across a variety of sports and cultural events, showcasing not just athletic excellence but also creativity, teamwork, and leadership.
TPL is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of Tirpude’s culture, bringing together students, faculty, and mentors in a festival of sportsmanship, talent, and camaraderie.
